Ive been asked to help find homes for a group of purebred Icelandic horses in southern California. These horses are being offered free to approved homes. The ages range from 9-26. While most have been handled and halter trained, very few have been trained to ride and most of the males are still intact. I strongly recommend that you be an experienced horse person or have ready access to a knowledgeable trainer should you desire one of these horses. Most are currently not registered, but the majority of them are DNA-verified and can be registered easily be as both parents are registered. I have personally detailed the information on which horses can be done with a couple of signatures and which might be more challenging.
