Ive been avoiding putting on my gown for crowning all day but its about that time. My year as EliteMiss North-Carolina has been so wonderful but it is coming to an end in a few short hours. I have so many people to thank but the one lady I really need to thank will not actually get to hear the part in my farewell speech tonight where she is mentioned: so, Miss Phyllis Stewart Grant, thank you so much for being such a role model and mentor to me. I hope I am half the wife and teacher you are one day. Thank you for the countless dresses and sleepless nights that you have come through for me On a count of. It means the world to me and you are so appreciated. Thanks to you I always win best dressed and my wardrobe is always flawless. I am truly grateful. After this year I can say that the one thing that I have learned is that, it is GOOD to be queen. ;) #beyondblessed
