Ive been challenged by Ephesians 1:3 ever since last weeks sermon by my pastor ... Praise the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed ME in Christ with every spiritual blessing in heaven. This scripture passage says that we have incredible riches that have already been appropriated to us. Every spiritual blessing is already mine because of Christ in me. There is a realm of things that are mine that I am unaware of and have not grabbed onto or taken ownership of. The question and challenge that I cant get away from is: How will I choose to live this next week - or how will I live today - based on the knowledge that I have been blessed with every spiritual blessing of the heavens? I think this needs to make a difference in my focus and then should make a difference in how I live.
