Ive been challenged by Neil Cole to list ten books influential on my life. First of all, I am going to say that stories stay with me. I love them with all my heart. Therefore, in this case, influential means the stories I loved the most...which leads me to my second point. They are all my favorites. I LOVE books. My kids are constantly making fun of me because when it comes to books and movies I am constantly saying oh...that one is my favorite...yeah...I have a LOT of favorites. So this list is hard for me to make because its like picking a favorite kid (which I totally have...just kidding). I love books and I know I will miss a lot of my favorites so...heres a partial list. 1. Les Miserables by Victor Hugo (adapted by Jim Reimann) 2. The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis (all of them, especially A Horse and His Boy)...also the Space Trilogy 3. The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien 4. The Lord of the Rings, by J.R.R. Tolkien (all three). 5. Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers 6. The Harry Potter Series (all of them) by J.K. Rowling 7. Ready Player One by Ernest Cline 8. Roots by Alex Haley 9. The Oath by Frank Peretti 10. Tale of Despereaux - Kate DiCamillo
