Ive been cutting my scraps into 2.5 strips, 2 strips, 1.5 strips and strings and crumbs. I hope Im about half way done. Ive had bags and bags of scraps that Id not taken care of from the last couple of years--leftovers as well as some inherited from other people. I subdivded them into grocery store size bags and am trying to go through one a day (minimum)--that is 1-2 hours a day of sorting, trimming, etc. I still have 24 of these smaller bags to go through. Anyway, the big clear trash bag is 31.7 gallons (120 liters) and the 2 is a space-saver type bag--not quite as big. I already have 3-120 liter bags of 2.5, 2 and 1.5 strips upstairs (each one is full) in my sewing room....
