Ive been dealing with data loss for a few clients over the past few weeks. I cannot stress enough the importance of backing up your data. Whether its local, off-site, or cloud based, always always make sure you have some sort of automated backup running. I lost 250GB of info back in 2004. Thousands of pictures, all my music, everything digital that was important to me. Back then cloud backups werent even a blip on public radar. Now with Dropbox, OneDrive, and Google+ theres no excuse not to have a backup. Hell, even Carbonite (hope thats the right tag) is a fantastic option for the layman. Its pretty damn cheap and makes backups and restorations a BREEZE! Dropbox is my favorite, though. If you have a Samsung device, I believe they still give you 50GB of cloud storage, and all of your pictures and videos can be set to automatically back up when you take them. Im not even posting a referral link. Just go sign up for one of those services and have your peace of mind.
