Ive been disappointed with BR so far this transfer window. Why? Because... 1) He said there wont be many signings, which is disappointing seeing how average we have been so far this season. However I am still not sure if I can trust what he says because he said we wont be signing Mario Balotelli and now we have two Italian strikers in the first team squad. 2) He let Valdes go to United. Every man and his dog knows that we need a new goalkeeper and the former Barca keeper seemed to a lot of people to be our best bet for a good new goalie. But whats BR done? Hes let him go off to the scum. Hes let a goalkeeper who couldve solved our goalkeeper issues bugger off to the enemy! If the rumours are true and BR wants Perin, he better hurry up and get him soon because I have a feeling another big name club will grab him this month if we are too slow! 3) Hes letting Suso go to AC Milan. One of our best young players. Loads of people want him to get more game time and loads of people think he has huge potential and now hes off to Milan! I think weve missed out on something big by letting him go. Look, Im not saying Brendan out Im just trying to vent my frustration at a perceived lack of positive transfer activity from BR and those around him. It may be the transfer committee being a bunch of asses but still, BR should know what he needs in terms of new players an he should know that we need them as quick as possible and whats he doing? Letting one potentially good player go to the scum and letting one of our most promising young players leave? Urgh! Thoughts? Matt
