Ive been eating meat like a squalis (shark) on a low-carb, high fat diet that includes all the bacon I want, real butter, every kind of meat and pig fat (lard) since Feb. 2013. And here are the latest blood numbers (as of 9/19/14): Cholesterol - 196, HDL - 45, LDL - 127, VLDL 24 (under 30 is good), triglycerides - 119, glucose - 112. Ironically my blood sugar, of all things, is 13 points above desirable. All these numbers except glucose are noticeably improved from my days of eating an allegedly healthy diet based on the bogus Food Pyramid. Theyre also all pretty flat from my first blood test after three months of 25-carbs-per day eating. If saturated fat blows up your cholesterol number, then you couldnt prove it by my blood.
