Ive been following this since my brother Brent introduced me. My heart breaks for this family! They are so amazing! And as I lay here reading this I can relate to this post. Actually its what Ive been struggling with myself. What good do I do my children when I pretend? I realized I do him no favors when I am not being real.... Actually, Im not ok. But Im ok. I try hard to always put on a brave face when Ill suddenly be crushed by memory or a sever ache of longing for my dad. But I see that its ok to not be ok all the time, and its more of an injustice for my family to always try to pretend that I am.
