Ive been following this story for over a year and finally there is some good news to report: Eighteen months ago CBS became a partial owner of the TV Guide Network (TVGN). Two weeks ago, CBS and Lionsgate announced they would be rebranding TVGN as POP. The POP channel will be “a multi-platform destination dedicated to celebrating the fun of being a fan” where “fans don’t sit at the outskirts of pop culture making snarky comments, they live right smack in the middle of it.” The name POP refers to: When something stands out from the rest, it pops. It’s what everyone is talking about. It’s an exceptional talent. It’s a one-of-a-kind maverick. Two weeks ago CBS, greenlighted the new Supergirl series, with a hefty episode order. Yesterday, Showtime (owned by CBS) greenlighted the Twin Peaks 3rd season after a absence of 25 years. Also, an article came out about POP and stated that the Jericho episodes would air again on POP. Of all the series, CBS could mention (Twin Peaks, Supergirl, Star Trek), the first series mentioned is Jericho! The only series tagged, by the author, is Jericho. We still dont know about a Jericho continuation, but it is likely that CBS wanted to set up this channel before announcing anything about Jericho.
