Ive been fortunate enough to have had some kind of impact in at least eight of my friends childrens lives. I sit here and wonder sometimes, Why cant I be a parent? Why is almost everyone around me having kids or has had kids and I havent? Then I think about the impact Ive had just being Uncle Mike and you know what? I think I can live with that. Would I like a child of my own someday? Yes...very much so. And someday it will happen but until then I will be fine with being the person known as Uncle.
