Ive been fortunate today to be able to stay in the PACU next to Jason all day today. I finally had to take a break at 1:30 to grab some food and get a little walk in. He is doing ok. Had some trouble with his wound...it was wide open. The got the surgeon in to stitch it up. He is frustrated with still being in the PACU, its noisy and busy and not very private. He wants to see the kids and knows he wont until he is in a room. He keeps asking about Cammy. In his less lucid moments he thinks we can leave to go visit her. He has asked for his phone a few times so if you see a crazy post, email or text, know that he wont remember it later, but he is insistent. On a bright side, we got a visit from the priest that married Jason and I. This is a man Jason respects a great deal. It was a good thing for him. Jason was anointed and we said a prayer for both Jason and Cammy. Unfortunately he wasnt able to receive communion, he is still restricted to clear liquid diet. Im hoping my next update will be that Jason is in a room....finally!
