Ive been getting sent a lot of links of people claiming to be me while wearing suits modeled after my original Drive Suit designs. Whereas, I dont mind the costumes being duplicated and am somewhat flattered by it, I simply detest that these people think it leaves them claim to my actual name or any of my past endeavors. That being said Ive only ever made one version of the Mark I Drive Suit, the red mustang I unveiled to the world in 2011 on American Idol and others venues. It was the first of its kind, but as naturally as it was created it has also evolved. I thought I would try to map the progression as best I can. Artemis - Mark I Drive Suit - 2011 Featuring, 12V Single front drive axle mounted on the left arm. Full car form with the assistance of a transformation bar. Max speed 5mph, on/off power hand controller. Downfalls, Very heavy, transformation is slow, zero visibility, car form is out of level from the driver to the passenger side due to arm mount, steering difficult, multiple pressure points. Arm movement severely restricted. Eli - Mark II Drive Suit - 2012 Featuring, 12V Dual rear drive axles mounted on the shins. Full motorcycle form, transformation instantaneous. Max speed 5mph, full visibility, moderate steering capabilities. Reduced weight, on/off power hand controller. Larger range in arm movement. Downfalls, Steering is slow, severe pressure point on the legs and feet. Arm movement range still restricted. Po - Mark III Drive Suit - 2012 Featuring, 12V Dual rear drive axles mounted on the shins. Full motorcycle form, transformation instantaneous. Max speed 5mph, full visibility, moderate steering capabilities. Twin motors and gear boxes on each leg for more torque, Capable of handling heavier users. On/off power hand control. Larger range in arm movement. Downfalls, Steering is slow, severe pressure point on the legs and feet. Extra battery power required, additional weight. Arm movement range restricted. Artemis Refurb - Mark IV Drive Suit - 2012 Featuring, 12V Dual rear drive axles mounted on the shins. Semi car form, transformation instantaneous. Max speed 5mph, full visibility, moderate steering capabilities. Reduced weight. On/off power hand controller. Greater range in arm movement. Downfalls, Steering is slow, pressure points on feet and legs. Not a full car form. Arm movement restricted. Drive Boots - Mark V Drive Suit - 2013 12V Dual rear drive axles mounted on the shins. Semi Go Kart form from the waist down, transformation instantaneous. Max speed 12.5mph, full visibility, improved steering capabilities. Significantly less weight, on/off hand controls built into boots. Full range of arm movement. Downfalls, Pressure points on the shins and feet. Zero form above waist. Slight balancing issue. Moto - Mark VI Drive Suit - 2014 Featuring, 24V Single front drive axle mounted from the chest. Interchangeable Full or Semi car form, transformation instantaneous. Max speed 20mph, full visibility, full steer capability. Brakes and power throttle built into front drive axle. Full range of arm movement. Downfalls, Still not off road capable, shorter drive time. I havent used the Mark I since it was parted and refurbished in 2012. Moto videos will be released this October, good luck copying that.
