Ive been getting texts from a few people telling me that people are leaving this group because of the negative posts lately. This saddens me. One of the reasons this group was set up in the first place was because an alternate Facebook group had become a place of nastiness and divisiveness. On the one hand we could just say -- lets only post happy and positive posts in this group. But on the other hand, with all of the things wonderful things that I love about Beit Shemesh, there are serious problems here right now and I believe that they need to be discussed and hopefully resolved. Of course the discussions should be kept civil - no personal attacks, no snarkiness etc. but I dont think we can just pretend that everything is fine. Just my two cents.
