Small City Dweller - left Burlington, 28 yrs old 5. Journalist - last non-fiction article published, 37 yrs old 6. Feature Filmmaker - forwent opportunity to have well-reviewed script developed into a movie, 35 yrs old 7. Painter - bulk of paintings: age 21-28. Last painting, 36 yrs old 8. Poet - bulk of poetry: age 24-27. Last poem, 34 yrs old 9. Carpenter - carpentry as bill-paying work, ages 27-28, 36 yrs old. Carpentry as home owner, ongoing. 10. Broadcast TV Big Shot - turned down job as Unit Manager for World Cup Tour, 38 yrs old 11. Actor - last role, 23 yrs old 12. Writer of made-up stuff mostly nobody reads - ongoing
