Ive been having a difficult time getting into the Holiday spirit. December is a hard month, the 19th was the anniversary of my mom passing away in 2008, just 12 days before her birthday on New Years Eve. Recent events like the tragic shooting in Cheshire, the senseless assassination of the 2 NYC police officers, the memory of Sandy Hook, and so on. People who know me well, know that I am not a religious man, my faith lies in humanity rather than a deity, and these events are enough to rattle anyones faith. Thankfully, when I feel that faith get shaken, I am fortunate enough to have a beautiful wife to remind me of what a lucky man I am. Elizabeth has been volunteering for the Look For The Good Project, which focuses on gratitude, and when I feel low I remind myself of how much I have to be grateful for. With that in mind, I would like wish all of my friends a very merry Christmas, and remind everyone to take the time show the people you love how much they mean to you. Slow down, enjoy your time on earth, because it goes by a lot faster than you think. Peace...
