Ive been having an internal debate all day on whether or not I should admit this but here goes. Last night when I got home from work, Carol was watching the Miley Cyrus concert (I use the term concert in the loosest terms possible) on NBC. I was totally dumbfounded and asked her if there werent something else on. She said its so bad that its actually funny and that its really weird. I soon saw what she meant. Between songs they cut to Miley supposedly writing songs with her guitar player in her BATHROOM with some woman dressed up as a cat in her bathtub. Well, Ive heard of some pretty strange muses, but a woman in a cat suit in the bathtub takes the cake. Back to the concert, heres my synopsis: songs all sounded just alike and they sucked which is why I think they cut away to the cat woman to get a break in what sounded like one longggggg song; costumes were mediocre at best; dancing was rudimentary at best; based on the kiss cam, there are no straight people in London; and the star is decidedly not attractive. And to think, it was just a couple of weeks ago we were at the Cedar Cultural Center listening to Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers. Nikki has more talent in her little finger than Miley Cyrus will ever have and we didnt have to mortgage the house to pay for the ticket.
