Ive been holding off on launching this program but with so many people in desperate need of more personal support & connections my spirit has been nudging me to post this now ... Its still a work in progress and will be further developed along the way but I feel its a necessary resource that many need and Ive learned that waiting for perfection stifles progression!! So the A Song for Life Sarcoidosis Foundation Network is launching its Exclusive Peer to Peer Shoulders to Lean On Outreach Program. This outreach program has been created to provide the ASFL Foundation a comprehensive way to connect with its Members in a more personal way while facilitating & encouraging Survivors & Caregivers to provide One on One support to their Peers. In the event a member is unexpectedly faced with a severe health challenge that becomes debilitating or limits their ability to communicate with others on a mass level (such as through social media) for a significant amount of time, this program will provide ASFL with the necessary information needed to obtain “personal well-being” updates and help the Network stay aware of any developing needs its members may have. All ASFL Members are eligible and are encouraged to join this peer program however you are REQUIRED to submit the necessary information to be added to the outreach database. To submit your request for participation please go to the ASFL website and complete the online form at: asongforlife.wix/sarcoidosis#mainPage and click on the ASFL Programs Link on the top navigation bar. Once submissions have been received and organized, additional program details will be provided to each participant individually. The emotional and physical well-being of ASFL’s Members is this Network’s highest priority! So don’t isolate yourself or stand alone … Allow the A Song for Life Sarcoidosis Foundation Network to be your Shoulders to Lean On.
