Ive been holding off on mentioning anything about this on Facebook until now, as I wanted to make sure some people werent finding out about this through a post rather than from me directly (primarily my family). I submitted my two week notice at work as of last Friday. It was not an easy decision to make, but Im hoping itll be for the best. This self-motivation should help to spurn me on towards my new path in life as an IT professional. I would ask you, my friends, for support as I go through this change in my life. Im filled with anxiety about a lot of this, as Ive been in my current job for over seven years and I dont know what awaits me on the other side. I do know this: if I dont push myself forward Ill just be stuck in neutral - and thats no way to live.
