Ive been home for 13 days, and my schedule this week is already packed with promise. Tomorrow I am meeting with my favorite Social Work professor ever. His classes felt like church to me, I constantly wanted to scream AMEN! (Who am I kidding? I screamed things in his class all the time...) I taught my Haitian Social Workers systems theory, and the the stages of engagement-assessment-planning-intervention-follow-up verbatim to how he taught us. And then we practiced these beautiful theories on the streets of Haiti with homeless children. Heres hoping I made him proud! #msum #haitimama #socialwork
