Ive been in New Orleans for a conference all week. Tonight was customer appreciation night. Free snack food, drinks, and a Journey concert. So Im sitting in the bar at the Intercontinental Hotel about 2 hours before the concert throwing down an awesome pizza because the vendor supplied food has unfortunately sucked all week and in walks this dude that my Co worker called a dweeb. Mom jeans, fancy kewl boots, slick jacket that was tight fitting. Had the hair, the flair, etc. I took one look at him and said thats a performer, probably a musician. When I got to the Journey concert I found out the gentleman was Jonathan Cain of Journey. Small world. In case youre interested, he had one glass of red wine and left. He seemed very preoccupiedwith his cell phone while at the bar. Great concert tonight.
