Ive been in a lot of nerve wracking situations in my day, but having my Garmin not work at the beginning of a race that Im supposed to pace was right up there with the best of them. Especially since it was a pace Im not used to running. Going up to complete strangers and asking if I could use their watch proved fruitless. Big thanks to my fellow pacers for their help in getting my watch rebooted and working! I thought I would have to count one Mississippi, two Mississippi, ad infinitum for as many Mississippis as there are in a half marathon. In other news, it was a great run on a great and sunny morning.
