Ive been in reserves for one week now and am doing well. Ive been sent up north to the Israel/Syria border. Its been surreal watching the Syrian civil war unfold right in front of my eyes, the Syrian army with the help of Hezbollah fighting against the Free Syrian Army with the help of Al Queda and other factions (including ISIS). Witnessing the amount of destruction caused to this country that has been forgotten by the world, with no end in sight, is quite sad.
