Ive been inspired by my friend, Johnny, and have decided to be a tad sentimental, as its Mothers Day (I usually leave the emotional stuff to my sister). However, here goes. Mother, you have offered me nothing but love and encouragement from birth. There were rough times, horrific tragedies in our family, poverty, uncertainty, but through it all, you were there. Most importantly, you let me be me. I was a strange wee child from the start. I bet you wondered how I would end up, after returning home with me on the bus from the child psychologist! But you never voiced any concern, and instead believed in me, and loved me, as I do you. Happy Mothers Day!
