Ive been involved in countless conversations about the physical beauty of Emma Watson (and my opinions on the subject remain unchanged). But what I rarely get the chance to discuss is how much I aspire to and respect her dignity, clarity of expression and compassion for humanity. Here is a wonderful example of those remarkable qualities. Her topic of discussion is one that I feel immensely strongly about. I have long felt that gender stereotypes are yet another of the unnecessary pressures foisted onto us by society, complicating our friendships and relationships, and in certain cases (including, sadly, many of my friends) leading to serious anxiety. If by fighting these standards, I have become one of Emma Watsons inadvertent feminists, then so be it.
