Ive been kind of fighting the boiler all season. It kept dying out on me and it has always seemed to burn through a lot more wood than expected. After some adjustment on the air flow settings and some internet research on proper loading, shes running like a top and using about half the wood to keep a good bed of hot ash in the bottom. Thats the good news. The bad news is I think Ive been keeping it too full of wood on an on going basis and have probably burned through about 40-50% more wood than I needed to. Live and learn, but my back sure is sore from hauling all of it for the last three years....
