Ive been known to rant and rave about environmental issues -- and even exaggerate a time or two. But make no mistake, this is a disaster. When I worked for US DOE, we used to meet at Hanford for our Region X meetings. The old guys there used to say, we dont even know where half the stuff is buried. When these leaks hit the groundwater and make their way down the Columbia River -- it will be a disaster. Similarly, if Reactor No. 4 at Fukushima experiences an earthquake, it has been said we would have to evacuate the West Coast (Dr. David Zuzuki -- Canadas Bill Nye). It is estimated that Fukushima has a 95 percent chance of another earthquake in the next three years. And we are about to become - UNLESS YOU SPEAK UP -- the fossil fuel corridor for the west coast. This place you love. Its in danger. Do you own research. Speak up. Its all at risk.
