Ive been lurking here a few weeks after seeing this page on my brother-in-laws FB page..... I left Texarkana in 1971 but was curious of any members who went to Central Elementry from the mid to late 60s.... Heres a photo of my 1969 yearbook - I was in the 6th grade that year and in Mrs Martha Howards class... I remember hot wheels, GI Joes and knocking a few of those windows out while playing baseball during recess........I remember MR PHIL, Mr Gamble, Miss Margaret Edwards, Mrs DaVanie....I remember my friends: Jackie Cauthorn, Gregory Williams, Eddie Cook, Thomas Braswell and others....So sad this building doesnt exist anymore.....My sister and brother still live in Texarkana, and I visit every so often....
