Ive been making kombucha a little over a year and never experienced such rapid SCOBY growth or such a vinegary smell before. You can see the growth of the SCOBY here, they have developed to this size from baby size in just over a week. Im a little concerned about a couple of them. I just lifted the cover off to see that a few of the SCOBYs are curling upward around the edges. Never seen this before. Normal or funky?
