Ive been meaning to post this review of a trip I planned and guided this past summer as a reminder that its never too early to start thinking about and planning a trip for next summer! Thanks for your thoughts Chris! I recently went on an extended weekend trip to Lake City with my father and our friend. Doug did a great job planning everything out for us and ensuring that we had a fun vacation. I really didnt know you could do THAT much stuff in just a couple of days! The best part was the fact that we really got to enjoy the trip. Vacations on your own are fun, but you have to plan everything and you end up worrying about time and check-ins and check-outs. With Doug guiding the tour, it honestly was as stress free a vacation as Ive ever been on, we were really just along for the ride and able to enjoy everything we came across. Im trying to think of things I would have changed or wanted different, but its difficult. There really werent any flaws in how the weekend went. It went so well in fact, that Im already looking forward to Doug guiding another trip for us next summer. The only bad part about the vacation was that it was simply too short due to all of our busy schedules. I strongly encourage anyone who reads this to consider taking a guided trip. Colorado is a beautiful state, and there really is no feeling like reaching the summit of a 14,000 foot peak. There are so many things to do and see and no single trip can fit it all in. But with Doug at the wheel I promise youll see much more than you would have if you just winged the vacation on your own!
