Ive been nominated by The Voice of China Season 3 Hong Kong Auditions winner Hinry Lau 劉卓軒 to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge! The challenge aims to raise awareness of ALS, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a degenerative disease that renders a person into progressive paralysis. A person with ALS will eventually lose his/her ability to speak, eat, breathe, and walk normally. Theres no cure for it to date. Before the challenge was launched, the disease was relatively unknown and research was severely underfunded. Pete Frates, stricken with ALS, launched the challenge and it went viral all over the Internet. Stay tuned to my page for my video of taking the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge!
