Ive been nominated by my friend Kerry Dockery for The Gratitude Challenge. Im to say 3 things for which I am grateful over 5 days, and to nominate 3 people each day to do the same. Today is day 4, and I nominate Bonnie Geffen, Kevin E McKenna and Barry Brothers. Heres my Gratitude List for today. 1. Love. Its what makes the world go round, and I just cant get or give enough of the stuff. None of us can operate without it. 2. Leo Fender. If you dont know who is Leo Fender, the Google button is in the top righthand corner of your screen. 3. An oil painting made by my mother that I did not see until after her death. Its a picture of a small alcove in her home containing 3 items; a decorative Spanish fan, a statue of a Chinese peasant carved from ebony, and a Bonsai tree, all gifts from me to her. Guess she liked them. The painting hangs in our living room and the statue is on a shelf.
