Ive been nominated by my friend Steve Sheldon to do the song a day for five days challenge..... Id better do it to make up for the fact that I still havent done the ice bucket challenge yet oops. I have to start with the group that were responsible for dragging me out of the cold, meaningless mainstream world and into this warm welcoming and constantly inspiring bubble that is the folk world. And this song I remember from that first concert - for the great harmonies and the story that went with it at the time about the Duke of Monmouth and his unfortunate speaking voice, losing his credibility or something.... This particular version is more recent, from Herstmonceux Castle a few years ago. I was there and it took me back. It also demonstrates the wonderful connection between these two, their honesty, humour and ability to laugh at themselves and be so professional, yet so real.
