Ive been on Facebook for three years. I have a question. This question is for THE ELDERS....That would be anyone over the big five-O..... THAT HAS GAINED VALUABLE KNOWLEDGE..... Why are we BLACK PEOPLE so critical of each other ? I am a very outspoken and opinionated person.. My posts are geared mainly towards, the ugliness of racial and social status divide, my own bone-headed faults, irresponsible behavior and nuances I discovered about myself. Hopefully Ive got someone to look at my post and say Im not going where she went. Because it took too many years for her to stop doing what she was doing. Nothing would please me more.......If wed STOP the dis-respectful banter towards one another. If you see what you feel is a fault in someone. Pray for them. If you feel you can get through to them. Jump at the chance to teach CHANGE. GHETTO is such a nauseating word. I grew up in a neighborhood called Dag, it gave me more than 20 LOVING village moms. All taught me what it mean to be a young black woman. I USED EVERYTHING THEY TAUGHT ME TO REMOVE MYSELF FROM WHAT COULDVE BECAME A DEADLY SITUATION.... STOP LAMBASTING PEOPLE WITH A JIBBERISH TONGUE.... WHICH IS THE EASIEST THING IN THE WORLD TO DO. Being black in America leaves us all at a disadvantage educationally and economically. Much frustration comes from not being able to secure a job that feeds and educate our families. Our children has lagged behind other children because America made their parents disappear from the work force. When you see us, its usually in media coverage of crimes committed. YOURE LOOKING AT US THROUGH THE PRISM OF A DOG EAT DOG WORLD that the media invented. Other races have the same problems we are experiencing. The social media uses our image as the Face of Whats wrong with America. Knowing FULL WELL the greed of the 1% controlling this country, ARE REALLY WHATS WRONG with every inner city neighborhood in America....
