Ive been playing small (and thats compared to my own level of excellence) but Im embracing my STANDING TALL. There is MORE to give. Vanity aside, Im a QUEEN. A GODDESS!!! Im intelligent, creative, and my heart is pure. No time to convince others of my caliber, just going to live my truth. Nothing speaks to power more than moving powerfully. And #TheWork is not debatable!!! If you see me in the community serving, THATS WHAT IT IS. If you hear me on the radio speaking truth to power, THATS WHAT IT IS. If you see me supporting and lifting the great works of my brothers and sisters and leading efforts to lift up our COLLECTIVE strength, THATS WHAT IT IS. If you see me in the schools because I want to make a difference for our students, educators, and school administrators, THATS WHAT IT IS. If you see me lifting up loving relationships because I believe in Family as a fundamental key to our growth as a community, THATS WHAT IT IS. And it aint for notoriety, its about taking us higher B. My purpose is to SERVE. But…if you keep company that isn’t consistent with what you are up to, you can lose focus. It can happen to the best of us.
