Ive been posting a lot of food lately, basically because the 21-day fast imposes a serious stress on my brain. I am a foodie, but this time of consecration is a time of giving up food to get something from God. It should not be a diet, for diets are for physical results. Fasts are for spiritual results where you may lose a few pounds in the process. Take the edge off of the process - write a prayer list of all the things youre believing God for.. and I encourage you to believe Him for the HARD things, whatever your hard thing may be. Believe Him for the house you may not qualify for, for the car, for the job, for the scholarship, for salvation of loved ones, for reconciliation of the family, for healing, for deliverance, BELIEVE HIM! Focus on the list as you pray and fast through these next days. And take it one day at a time. Dont look at it as 21 days. Look at it as fasting for this day, and then tomorrow, fasting for that day. Youll make it. I know you will. Youre tougher than you think you are!
