Ive been posting on my brothers status. Im going to repost what I posted there. My brother is doing better although he is still in critical condition. Here is the latest post. Thanks so much for your love and prayers! My friends are awesome: Hello everyone. I so appreciate those who are praying. And I also appreciate the love of those who dont believe in prayer, but love my brother with sincerity. I will post Bobs status towards the end for those who want to skip. Answer to prayer number 1: The day after I asked you to pray for my mothers living situation a beautiful subsidized apartment opened up. It has two bedrooms, so that if Bob recovers he can live with my mom. ....They also take pets, which is a huge miracle, because my Moms dog gives her so much joy. Now my mom has to step into that miracle. God never takes away our ability to choose. We were made in Gods Image so that we could become the Bride of His Son, and also His Children forever. We were not made to be servants. We were made to be Gods family. And so we have the great capacity to learn how God thinks - although we will never have the capacity to know all that God knows, being that he knows every star by name. And they exist within him. My mom has the ability to choose, because to be in Gods likeness - God has the ability to choose. I can choose poorly, and have many times in my life. And God has used the Laws of Sowing and Reaping (A Universally accepted concept - Karma is a law of sowing and reaping) to teach us and help us make wise choices. Thats why we have the undeniable capacity to screw up our lives royally. Or we can enter into a place of blessing upon blessing - which has far less to do with material things, than eternal things - which includes impacting other peoples lives for the better. The greatest seed anyone can sow is Love. Even if we are betrayed and taken of advantage of - love never fails to yield positive fruit. Bobs status: Yeah! Bob had a good day. Again, he has not crossed the threshold where I can say recovery is assured. But he was stable the entire day, and in the best shape this nurse has ever seen him in. Go Bob!!! Now a request for those who are prayer warriors. God hears all sincere prayer. I dont want to teach on prayer here. But there are specific kinds of prayers that are so effective that they are almost proclamations that change the physics of the Universe. My fellow Pastors daughter was dead for 8 hours and they refused to let her go, and she came back to life after having seen Jesus and his angels. That is an effective prayers. .................And likewise, there are things we do that can sabotage our prayers so that they are as limp as noodles sitting in water for a week. ...Unforgiveness, refusing to make our human relationships right, are just a few things that block the effectiveness of prayers. Why? The Law of Sowing and Reaping. ....If we are internally sowing malice - we reap something in order to get our attention - to force us to make these things right. The other day I banged my head really hard and I havent felt right since. I may have had a concussion or maybe worse. Pray that God will heal and restore me. I need all of my faculties, not only for Bob, but for all the good things I hope to accomplish in this earth while I am here. Thank you all for your patience and love. Its always appreciated.
