Ive been practicing mindfulness meditation a lot lately. Its a simple technique of witnessing your mind and all the different places it goes over the course of your day. Instead of sitting for an hour in meditation, the practice is to be mindful of your thoughts in every normal moment of the day. Waking up in the morning, on the way to the bathroom and taking out the trash... The process is to just to watch yourself, like an observer. Ive been a lot more aware of the way I have created the thoughts in my mind to make a situation bad or good, also how I repeat the stories of other people in my mind. Its amazing how much I witness myself getting lost in my own mind, not being present with an empty and open mind and heart, but approaching situations with preconceived thoughts then allowing those preconceived thoughts to shape my experience. Its really important to me to see our world through the eyes of my highest self :) My life kinda revolves around it :) This little practice has helped me to distance myself from the old stories I am telling and to bring an open heart and mind to every moment to allow the new to come in ♡ Letting Go of the Story & Creating Anew I imagine myself free. I let go of every story of my life. I let go of the stories from the past. I let go of every thought in my mind. I feel my mind becoming more spacious. I imagine myself being all that I desire. I keep my focus on what I desire. My clear mind is fertile ground for my deepest desires. I AM free & open to all the new experiences and opportunities to come!
