Ive been reading about everybody pledging to do the right thing over the holidays and I see how people are starting to act. I too have made a top ten! If this doesnt make you laugh or cry......watch your cart....... READ ON! 10) I pledge to say Happy Holidays to people at work whether I like them or not because my Grandmothers would be proud. 9) I will cook from scratch for my family and friends because its better that way. 8) I will eat holiday cookies and snacks by the handful. 7) My children will still receive discipline if acting like entitled brats! (My kids already know this and I doubt it would ever happen (thank you Laura Sundbeck-Britting :) for raising wonderful children with me!) 6) I pledge to NOT wear the bunny outfit from A Christmas Story or let my son wear one..... EVER! 5) I will spend too much money on Christmas gifts and tell everybody else I already have everything Ive ever dreamed of. 4) I will try to reach out to friends in need this year. Ive certainly had my down years and this year I would lend a hand to those who need it. 3) I WILL drink coffee during ALL daylight hours. 2) I WILL drink beer during ALL twilight hours. 1) If I see one more person knock an elderly ladys cart at WalMart I will scold their ass red! If I get so much as a funny look back Im flipping their F%^&kin cart on its side and will sing jingle bells at the top of my lungs until I create a scene then tell everybody in the crowd about the asshole who tried running over an elderly woman! Happy holidays
