Ive been reading mss. for my juried intensive poetry workshop and for the fiction issue of 5th Wednesday. Our solstice party was great and warm and people said the cassoulet this year was the best ever. But i think they say that every year we do the party. Last year it was only 10 days after my first knee operation, so we had to skip doing it. Finally sun today! Puck stuck his tail in the red candle on the hannikiyah last night. I grabbed him and blew it out so the fur was singed but he didnt get burnt. He was after roast beef left over from the party. He was so focused on trying to get some that he didnt even notice his tail in the flame. I always stay with the candles until they burn all the way down and go out.
