Ive been saying this for awhile...there is no such thing as a no-kill shelter environment. where do all these dogs go when there arent enough homes to adopt??? so they live their remaining time in kennels???? like a prisoner??? here in Los Angeles the small 501 rescues have to compete with Best Friends who has decided volume is better than quality. they advertise all the time free adoptions/ $10 adoption fees for a week, etc etc....and they dont do homechecks.
