Ive been sent the Jackson Sun article on the current mill owners statement several times today and I really dont know what to say. If they were so sure what they were doing was best for the building and our community, why were they being so secretive about it. They have been a part of our community for a long time. They know what that building was and what it means to us. They know about who we are and what kind of community this is. They helped us save our post office 3 times. I see both sides of the argument but I stand on the side of preservation. What irritates me the most about all of this is how they tried to pull this off without giving the community, that they have enjoyed being a part of, any information or chance to discuss it.
