Ive been silent and havnt voiced much opinion about the happening in Furguson, MO...Its such a sad situation as to what occured there, but we must realize that although this act of injustice was done at the hands of a law enforcement official, killings occur in mass quantities not jus in the US but all over the world... We are at a critical time in our world where death, war, and natural disasters are more evident than ever, new laws are being passed, civil liberties are being taken, and even our constitution seems as if its being rewritten right before out eyes... More and more God seem to be taken out of the equation, and for that reason the signs of the times are becoming more clear. Its seems we are at the brink of war and well soon be entering a new chapter in our worlds history. The happenings in Furguson, MO to me demonstrates the totalitarian mindset that these bigger city police have..yess there is more crime in bigger cities, but the brutality that they display is unacceptable and the force in which they use is unjustifiable and excessive. I can understand the frustration of the black community because this seems to be an issue that goes deeper than whats on the surface...There are those who believe that this isnt a big issue because it didnt happen to them or just because Michael Brown was black, the people of Furguson, MO shouldnt be sooo angry as to the point of rioting...But what people must realize is that this deep seated anger stems from the disdain and pain from the roots of slavery to the Civil Right Movement Era up on until now where such statisics of encarerations, black unemployment rates, the life expentantcy of black males, and racial profiling all equate in my mind to the understable feeling of anger, frustration, and oppresion. I heard a song that was unreleased and now realeased to the public not long after the Brown incident by none other than the Woman of Soul Lauryn Hill called BLACK RAGE. The peotic words she uses in this song are sooo profound I had to listen a few times to feel what she was saying...Just because this situation didnt happen at your doorstep, dont be so quick to think that it cant or wont because the way the world is going today, anything can happen so stayed prayed up and hope it doesnt.. Like, Comment,Share, And Give Feedback On my Whats On Your Conscious Mind Topic of Discussion I like to call BLACK RAGE and listen to the song as well. https://youtube/watch?v=W8Ix__x0gZM And as always...Stay Conscious Minded. #WakeUpNowWednesdays #WhatsOnYourConsciousMind
