The University of Wisconsin is taking newborn baby monkeys away from their mothers, subjecting them to terrorizing incidents, then euthanizing them before age 2. Their justification for this *research*? They want to find out if this will cause anxiety. My letter to these yahoos..... A quick note to say your university is disgusting to conduct such useless and horrific (so-called) research. What the hell do you think would happen to young animals removed from their mothers and subjected to fear?? Thats right, theyll get anxious. If you need to actually harm baby monkeys to confirm that, your university is pretty damned pathetic. For an institution thats supposed to be so smart, you sure have a lot to learn.
