Ive been so blown away by rams these past couple days. her communication is getting so much better. shes trying really hard to get out some words ..nothing solid yet (she can say DAD, dog, fish, bye, ewwe) but shes really trying u can tell she will look at you point at things and repeat the same thing tryin to get me to understand. she also put her shoes on tonight all alone (not the right feet or even the same shoes) shes been eating EVERYTHING lately with very little to no gagging. shes been standing soooo good even letting go at some points for a few seconds her right leg is getting stronger and she is standing less on her ankle and more on her flat feet. she does really good with shoes on but without them is getting so much better as well. shes been taking about 7 steps per day either with a walking toy or her gait trainer. Im so ready for her to take more and more often but im happy she is taking any at all. she also knows how to wash her own hair clean out her ears point to feet eyes nose mouth hair learning to put her shapes in the right spaces. can point out random animals in a book when asked. shes been climbing stairs and over all the furniture turns on and off lights when she leaves or enters rooms yells at the dog when she barks, brings me the remote to watch mickey mouse, puts her own rings necklaces shirts pants and socks on (she needs a lil help but she knows where they go) shes a super smart girl and figures everything out but these strides are making me very excited because there is such a huge change in just a few weeks. shes catching right up she is also getting better with her sensory issues in therapy the other day she let kelsey hold her hands and point to things counting she also made it through two rounds of patty cake with me before she pulled her hands away ...at 12 months she could barely sit up not stand was eating baby food and was not interested in any toys .. over this last year shes learned everything and other then her speech and of course not walking alone.. she has almost caught up to her age on everything. im super proud and was sitting here thinking about her and needed to brag
