Ive been struggling with this neck pain all week. I strained my neck mending my winter comforter, and then with the icy weather the edema moved in. Ive had to sleep upright in a living room chair, which is miserable. Today we went to the production house, and Dave says I look terrible. I explain the edema and the neck injury and he says, Oh you need potash. Here put this on it and hands me his ashtray. This is a ridiculous idea, and Im not going to make a fool of myself covered in cigarette ash. But I do it anyway because Daves suggestions have worked in the past and, durned if it didnt work a charm. Now I have to get some cigars I guess.
