Ive been thinking. Why did Clara persuade the Doctors to save Gallifrey? Well this is my theory. If Missy is the Rani one of the things she couldve wanted Clara to do would be to save Gallifrey for unknown reasons. And Missy mustve known that the 11th Doctor would encounter his past selves including the War Doctor as this was a point in his timeline where he had the choice of destroying Gallifrey and Missy couldve used Clara to prevent Gallifreys destruction. Or did Clara just do it because of what she said: Be a Doctor. The Rani did say in Mark of the Rani that she wanted to destroy the Time Lords. Then again I could be wrong with this theory as it didnt take the Doctor long to realise there were 3 of him who could help save Gallifrey and then he realised ALL 13! (Sorry, I had to!!) could help save Gallifrey as the Calculations alone would take, hundreds of years!! (SORRY!!) So theres my theory. And in the words of the Great Curator: Who knows eh?
