Ive been thinking about global inequity for a while, as many of you know. Women are often the most disadvantaged groups in society. In our own, developed nations, and even moreso in many developing countries. Women in many countries are simply unable to break their cycle of poverty through education simply because they were born a girl... But fixing that issue isnt just good for women.. its good for society as a whole. Developed and developing countries lose up to 27% of GDP per capita when they dont engage women in the workforce. Thats staggering! Fixing that through education is the best way to engage them in that workforce. Because it doesnt just give them vital skills that allow them to go on to secure jobs and beat the cycle of not only poverty, but violence, rape and childhood marriage, it also gives them power. To choose what they want to do. And thats EVERYTHING. Watch this video - and youll know why its VITALLY important to support me and my team in this cause! https://youtube/watch?v=1e8xgF0JtVg And for those who dont know - Im doing this with a team of 2 of my med buddies. And were doing dares in a dress. Every time you donate... Ill do a dare (as long as it doesnt involve breaking the law here lol) As a bonus... If I get to $300, Ill ask a girl out while wearing the dress and film it. If I get to $600, Ill do a full workout in the gym. Ill get someone to film it all too. If I get to $900, Ill do the WHOLE 90km Sydney to Gong bike ride... In A Dress. And Ill try and strap a Go-Pro to my head to see peoples reactions along the way =P Theres your motivation. Not only do you help change the lives of 3 girls by doing this... you get to humiliate me too. Tarini Srivastava Shejil Kumar
