Ive been trying to fix things for awhile now, in all the wrong ways. Mommy just realized that there isnt anything to fix, youre happy with things exactly the way they are. Just you and mommy. You wouldnt have it any other way and neither would I. Just like I sing to you every night when I put you down for bed, You Are My Sunshine, my good thing and I am so happy God gave me you. I wouldnt trade a second of our time together, for one day youll be a big boy who wont let mommy sing to you. You wont smile about it, youll roll your eyes and I wont be mama, Ill be hush mom. The day will come when we wont be alone anymore and Ill look back on this time we shared in OUR first home, this little apartment I dont feel is good enough for you and Ill remember that this is where you formed your beautiful personality. This is where God sent us when everything went wrong and Ill wish we could go back, even if for just a second. My prayer is that one day you look back and say my mama really did, does love me more than anything else in this world.
