Ive been trying to persuade my fellow online sellers to make our small businesses legal. Ive already taken the first step and Im still trying to get an officer from BIR to hear our side, to explain to us how we can make it happen. Im even offering basic accounting (bookkeeping) to my friends, or probably get a trainer to have a seminar on how to handle small online business and manage tax payments, to pay before the due dates to avoid penalties. But sometimes, BIR gets to my nerves with opinions like this. ============================ @Karen_DaviLa: BIR Comm Kim Henares says there are 3 ads - a doctor, an accountant and an online seller appearing as not paying proper taxes. #ANCHeadstart @Karen_DaviLa: K: Kahit yung nagbebenta ng mga damit sa opisina dapat may resibo? BIR Henares: OO, basta you are selling above P25! #ANCHeadstart @Karen_DaviLa: YES, basta business RT @macANDkeso: ibig nga sabihin if your cupcakes or i dunno, candies worth 25.50. You have to issue a receipt. Jusko. ============================ I am totally NOT against paying taxes and BUT will still stand by my opinion about putting seller on categories. ============================ Employees earning minimum wage are not paying taxes. Why not set an amount for online sellers where nde pa kami dapat magbayad ng taxes? Pag talagang malakihan na ung business, nangangailangan na ng pwesto, ng mga employees...dun sila magsimula ng tax! RESIBO PALANG GAGASTOS NA KAMI. PLUS THE PROCESSING OF PAPERS. Kung ultimong naglalako ng paninda sa mga opisina or yang mga packed lunch ay may taxes pa, dba tinutulak naman tayong masyado pababa? Wala namang masama kung pag aralan nilang mabuti how to handle this. https://facebook/photo.php?v=4147895419448&set=vb.1345694168&type=3
